An 1800s riverfront house, fully renovated and professionally designed, sitting on five acres along the Ottauquechee River — exactly halfway between historic Woodstock and the slopes at Killington. Five bedrooms, three and a half baths, and a finished attic with two more beds make it equally at home for a ski weekend, a hiking trip, a girls' weekend, or the kind of multi-family gathering that needs room to breathe.

Inside, the kitchen flows into the living room, the bathrooms have been redone with care, and the deck looks out over the river and the mountains beyond. There's an attached two-bedroom apartment available on request when you need more space, and a free 11.5 kW EV charger if you're traveling electric.

The Deerbrook

Book on Vrbo →

A sunny four-bedroom hilltop home with sweeping mountain views, a wood-burning stove, and an open, bright living area that makes the Vermont light feel even more like itself. Ten minutes to the cafés and bookstores of downtown Woodstock, fifteen minutes to the lifts at Killington — close enough that ski mornings are easy, far enough that nights are quiet.

Local trails leave from the door for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing in season. Best sledding hill is in the back yard. There's a dedicated office space for the work calls that follow you on vacation, and a kitchen and dining room built for long, slow meals.
